I just want to thank you for reading my post and commenting back. I gained allot from the mentoring program. This summer I plan to go to summer school. It's not going to be allot of fun. I have to pay 150 dollars for each class. I think I need three. So I'm saving up my money from my job so I can pay. I really want to get my credits so I can go off to college and I can do what I want to do. I really don't care about my junior year because it was suppose to be my senior year. I'm mad at my self because I didn't try harder and I didn't do what I was suppose to do and I'm stuck doing it all again, but one thing I can say is that I'm glad I came to Thurston because I got to meet so many nice and cool people. And I know that I'm not alone. My friend he goes to Redford union and he had to become a junior again and next year their might be a chance that hes has to become a junior again for the third time. Next year I know that I'm going to do my best. No if ands or butts about it. I not going to miss so many days of school and I'm going to do my work. I'm going to motive myself more. I don't want to be like my sister and just stay at home doing nothing. All she does is watch TV and sleep. I want to do more than that. That's why I'm still in school. Even if i turn 20 before I graduate I'm still going to stay in school no matter what.
I want to thank you for taking time out of your day to read and replay to my post.
Sincerely,
Sarah Natzke

Hi Sarah,
I hope that you are doing well, I suppose it's almost time for the school year to end! Summer school won't be too bad. At least you will have a chance to start some good study and attendance habits before the regular school year starts again. This could be your chance to really make some positive changes! You have nowhere to go but up! It is important to finish high school and do the best you can. You don't want to look back later and realize that you could have done so much better. You can't change what has already happened but you can change your habits for summer school and next school year! I hope that you are able to do well and not get too stressed out about it. I've found that things are a lot less stressful if I am organized and stay on top of them from the start. And you certainly don't have to end up like your sister - and who knows, maybe once she sees you graduating from high school and getting better jobs it will make her want to do more with her life, too.
Things for me have been pretty busy lately, I'm getting married on June 30th and have been doing a lot of preparations for that. It's fun but I'll be happy once the wedding is over and I can finally go on my honeymoon!
Best of luck in summer school and next year; do not get discouraged!
Amy
