Dear, Amy

We read this article called the American dream. It talks about how u try to work hard and you really dont get any where. It's comparing college students to working class, how there the same.
It also talks about that education was not seen as a pragmatic step in the path of the American dream.Today almost no high-paying jobs are available without a college degree. They say when a person comes from a poor, working-class background and manages to ''rise'' through hard work and determination to a wealthy, upper-class position in society, this person is said to have accomplished the American dream. I think that's true. I try to work hard every day by going to school and going to work. My definition of the American dream is someone who try's to work hard know matter what happens, they never give up. I plan to achieve my American dream by woring hard and not to let anything stop me from what i want to do in life. Do you think the American dream is a myth? Thank you for your time.

Amy

Dear, Amy
I'm so sorry. I didnt write you. I've been so busy with work and geting ready for these finals.
I'm going to give you some information about myself. I live with my uncle and sister.
I'm trying to do good in school. I'm not geting good grades but I'm passing. I was suppose to be
a senor this year. But I didnt get enough credits. So I'm trying to push myself to get good grades. So I can go to college, and study criminal justices. So I can do something I would love to do. Be a homicide detective. I wanted to go in the Airforce ever since I was little. But I cant because a couple months ago some people from the Airforce came over to my school. I talk to this guy named Sergeant Conan Valente and I asked him if I will be able to join the Airforce
he said no because you have asthma. So the Air force is not going to take you. I felt really bad because I coudnt go in the Airforce. But I didnt let that get me down. So I did the next best thing.
I asked him what can I do to help. He said you can volunteer. So right know I'm trying to get some information on what I can do to help out the Airforce.
I was just wondering If you know what classes I have to take to be a homicide detective.
I want to thank you againg for taking the time to read this. I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
Sarah Natzke
